A one-of-a-kind, walk-through experience where the exciting worlds are brought to life through holographic projection.
Over the course of your visit, you’ll move through a series of themed environments, each designed to transport you into a different part of the world, all without leaving downtown Vancouver!
What is a Hologram?
A hologram is an image created using light and advanced laser technology.
Holograms improve upon traditional 3D displays by creating greater depth and dimension and approaching the viewer from multiple angles. This provides and even more immersive effect.
Our holograms are powered by award-winning technology from Axiom Holographics.
What to Expect?
After you check in at the front desk, one of our Rangers will escort you to the Theatre for a short introduction video. Then, you’ll meet your Guide, collect your Hologram Glasses and set off on your adventure!
Depending on the Experience you choose, you could find yourself face-to-face with dinosaurs, exploring environments inspired by Asia, heading deep beneath the ocean or braving our Spooky Halloween Journey. Holograms appear around you as you make your way through the Experience, in front of you, beside you and even above you!
Finish your visit with our free hologram photo experience where you can step inside the worlds you’ve just explored and instantly download your photos and videos.

Each visit offers a choice between three different experiences, with new worlds rotating throughout the year.

By removing the need for physical enclosures, we can create meaningful experiences that inspire curiosity about animals while respecting their natural environments.
Giving Back to Wildlife
Each month, we donate a portion of our proceeds to a wildlife or conservation charity. When you visit, you’ll be invited to take part. Each guest receives a token and can vote for one of our featured charities, helping decide where that month’s donation will go.
The winning charity becomes our focus for the month, along with a featured Hero Animal.

The full experience takes approximately 45 minutes depending on how busy the attraction is.

We recommend arriving approx. 10 minutes before your scheduled time to ensure a smooth entry.

What is a hologram?

Unlike traditional 3D displays, holograms can be viewed from different angles, creating a more immersive visual experience. Our holograms are developed using award-winning technology by Axiom Holographics.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes, Hologram Zoo Vancouver is designed for visitors of all ages and is a great experience for families. Guests 3 and under are free!
Do I need to wear any special equipment?
Guests will be provided with lightweight viewing glasses as part of the experience.
Is the experience sensory-friendly?
Some areas include flashing lights, dark spaces and immersive sounds. The experience may not be appropriate for those who are sensitive to sensory stimuli.
Can I bring food or drinks?
We do not allow food or drinks to be brought through the experience due to the sensitive technology and dark spaces.
